Happy Year of Conservation!

Hello all!

I trust you had a happy Yule and New Year. We sure did!

I wish I had more time to blog but these entries will sporadic at best. I don't seem to have much energy to be crafty or magickal. The baby is at that age where I have to watch her every second and when she's asleep I'm grabbing precious moments of cleaning. With CHEMICALS!

Yeah in my other house with all the new cabinetry, cleaning with my vinegar solution was very cute, but this house, this old smelly, buggy house needs like battery acid to clean the counters!

And it never stays clean. I wanted to post some pics for you guys of the new place. I'll have to take pictures immediately after I clean.

Man, this house is full of problems. It's super drafty and the old wood smells funny and those huge cockroach/waterbugs that you only see in summer after a good rain are in the house every friggin' day! I think some good sealing would really help me out with both my problems.

But I will say the house feels more like home than the other one every did. Bugs, clutter and all.

I'm thinking of doing a ritual for a home purchase. It might be a multiple step spell. We're still working on saving and cleaning up our credit. We might also do a "vision board" of pics of our dream house. Maybe put that above the altar (which is in the kitchen now) so we'll be reminded daily....

Anyway guys, just wanted to check in now that I had 15 minutes of Me time!

Many blessings,
Danielle

Good to hear that this house really feels like home! It's too bad about the draftyness and bugs, though. Good luck with the house purchasing! My parents have been having a difficult time with the person they are trying to buy a house from. I hope you have far less problems!

Hope your ritual works perfectly! It's so good to hear from you!! Little Iris must be adorable by now! As soon as you can, post some photos - though I know how time demanding this phase is!

Muitos beijos com carinho de Nydia & Lucas.

Hello Danielle~
It has been much too long...I kind of underwent a cyber hibernation. :)
But I am happy to see that you and the family are all safe, healthy and happy...drafty old stinky house, waterbugs & all!(I have one of those too! All I an sayis Febreeze, febreeze, febreeze- oh...and lots of homemade simmering potpourri!)

And as far as the spotty blogging- as a sleep deprived new Mommy, I'm surprised you have time for it at all! LOL

I know that after the birth of eah of my 2 chilluns, everything (except for their care) kind of ceased for a good 8 mos to a year. Then slowly, I morphed back into 'me' again...just a lot more of 'me' each time! LOL

Anyways, Love & Blessings to you and the family. Good Luck in 2010 & enjoy EVERY SECOND with that beutiful doll baby of yours- as you may have heard...the time flies by all too fast!

Dani, I'm posting this both here and at my blog to make sure you get an answer. Post it here, there or everywhere, with or without links. Getting the info out is way more important than worrying about credit or ego.

I'm keeping Haiti and her beautiful peopl in my thoughts and prayers. I'm glad your family is safe!

((hugs))
